This flag is dedicated to the men and women that lost their lives on that horrific day. The September 11, 2001 terrorists attacks killed 2,996 people and injured over 6,000 others. 265 people were killed on the four planes used, 2,606 in the World Trade Center and surrounding area, and 125 at the Pentagon. These attacks were the most devastating attacks on US soil since the attack on Pearl Harbor.
A day of remembrance for those that lost their lives, and for all of those who gave their lives.
We Remember.
This wooden flag is handcrafted from bare pine wood and put through our antiquing process to make the wood appear rustic. The stars and lettering on the flag are painted on. The stripes and the Union are individual boards held together by a strongly constructed back frame using wood glue and staples. Strong, Durable, and will last for generations to come!
